Homemakers provide companionship and household support services, including, but are not limited to:

• Social companionship
• Light cleaning, dusting, vaccuuming, trash and recycling
• Laundry and linens
• Warm meal and/or grocery order and delivery
• Transportation planning

The Essentials package opens your
door to a nursing relationship, and is required for NeighborCare’s Personal Care or Nursing Care
services. The Essentials Package includes:

• Initial and ongoing nursing assessment
• An active nursing chart to respond to health needs or emergencies
• Emergency response pendant
• 24/7 coordinated 9-1-1 and NeighborCare team response

Personal Care Services are provided by care aides who work under the supervision of NeighborCare’s nursing team. Personal Care Services include but are not limited to:

• Bathing and oral care
• Dressing, including Ted sock support
• Skin care
• Medication reminders

NeighborCare has a nursing team that provides clinical services. Nursing services include but are not limited to:

• Medication management and set-up
• Superficial wound care (skin tear, stitches)
• Care management with client, caregivers and providers
• Care coordination (lab, x-ray, pharmacy, physician)
• Specialty clinic coordination (i.e. dental, podiatry)
